I have taken an initiative to collaborate with people to set up Reading centres in Government schools. It gives me great joy to see children read and learn more.
Our work and its impact
Umri Foundation works towards providing quality effective education for students in rural sector - one of the projects includes developing reading habits for better academic standards. We have set up reading centres in government schools.
How we will utilise these books
Reading has always improved academic standards and that is what our organization believes in. Reading books is fun and also best way to understand self and the world around us. By reading Gen Z would be more competent to face the global market. Reading also inculcates good habits and moral values which is more important in today's society. Umri Foundation aims to setup at least 4-5 reading centers in 4-5 government schools in the next 3 months.
