Who we are
We are working for the past 5 years on a river-cleanup campaign named Pavana-Mai Swachhata Abhiyan a.k.a 'Hyacinth and Sewage-free Pavana-Mai River' project.
As a part of our social activities, we have also adopted children in need. We support them in their pursuit of education with notebooks, school bags, stationaries among others. We know that children who read constantly will gain more confidence and knowledge. We strongly believe in inculcating good reading habits among children.
Our work and its impact
The members of our club are working in the areas of water & sanitation, solid waste management, curbs on single-use plastic, women empowerment, education, and other development projects.
Currently, Pavana River provides drinking water to over 25 lakh people of Pimpri Chinchwad. Cleaning, development, and maintenance of Pavana River are, thus, of paramount importance!
How we will utilise these books
In every corporation school of Walhekarwadi, we plan to install a Tree of Books within the school premises that students can freely access under the supervision of the school management. We look forward to your support. Please contribute generously so we may help children in the municipal corporation schools of Walhekarwadi, Pune.
