Who we are
I am Pulkit Kukreja.I am a Gandhi fellow batch 2018- 2020. Prior to this, I pursued B.Tech ( Mechanical) from SRM University, Haryana. I am working in Balrampur, UP to impart the quality of education to the children of this aspirational District. In Balrampur, we have launched many events like 'PADHE BALRAMPUR BADHE BALRAMPUR' to raise the enrollment in government schools, SMC formation to increase ownership and accountability in schools. Currently, I am focussing in the block of Balrampur for the functional library to make students learn in an efficient manner.
Our work and its impact
I am pulkit kukreja. Presently working in Balrampur, UP as a Gandhi fellow ( District Transformation Program) in education sector. And since 2008 Gandhi fellowship fellows are working keenly to Impart quality education.
How we will utilise these books
Balrampur, UP is an aspirational District as declared by Niti Aayog.It was ranked 94 out of 115 districts. This city has certain aspirations to grow and provide learned environment to its citizens. I aim to Impart qualititative and sustainable education to these demographic dividends to grow and learn and achieve flying colours. I would setup library in such schools where resources allocation is minimal and students have desire to fulfill their dreams. I also aim to create conducive learning environment since library does not mean 4walls with books but it is an idea to learn some things new and be better person than yesterday.
