Who we are
I am a software-professional turned change-maker who wants to bring excellent education to classrooms where it is needed the most. Hence I applied to the Teach for India fellowship and work with many government schools.
Our work and its impact
As per the Annual Status of Education Report 2018, about 50% of grade-5 rural children cannot read grade-2 level text and only about 28% can solve a division problem. In rural India, only ten children complete a college education out of 100 children who enroll in primary schools. So I am working with many organizations in the education space to make inroads into these government schools.
With this fundraiser, three to four schools will be benefitting from these books in the academic year 2021. We wish to distribute the Library-In-a-Classroom kit to all government schools of Channapattna in the future.

My goal this year is to set up libraries across all government schools of Channapattana, KA, Please join hands with me to gift a library to government schools and make joyful books accessible to all students across rural Channapattana.
