How we will utilise these books

At present, we mainly conduct Classroom Canvas Projects where we make infrastructural and aesthetic changes to classrooms. We first hire local masons to refurbish and repaint classroom walls. Then, through an orientation session, our volunteer artists interact with students to understand their background and aspirations, and conceptualize a mural that best suits the children and age group. The murals are then executed with help of children, staff and parents. This results in the creation of a positive and inspiring learning space, of which the students are co-creators not just consumers. The projects also bring together the teacher and parent community to work as a team. Different from our usual activities, we are conducting a toy and book drive for Dyanmandir Vidyalaya's kindergarten and primary section. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to purchase books for the first to fourth graders at Dyanmnadir Vidyalaya. More specifically, each student will receive a Pratham Book and can use them in addition to their existing academic material to develop their reading skills.
