How we will utilise these books
Initiating a libruary especially for rural children was itself a vanity to begin with (2010). In due course of time the children's library has become a hub of activities wherein children are engaged in not just reading but also other activities including public speaking, personality development, art, organising events, fund raising, upholding rights of children, etc. This has spread to the families and to the community. Rural parents and siblings bring children to introduce to books. Local schools visit the libruary to understnd the scientific way of sorting and displaying books as per GROW BY Reading. Community members and local Grama Panchayat have taken positions as Advisory Committee members and have supported monitory as well as with books. The impact of the Rural Children's Libruary can be felt in the qualitative raise in the reading and writing abilities of the children that has been identified in the schools. Child Rights Trust aims to set up 10 new rural libraries in Bengaluru rural area by the end of 2019. the collected fund will be utilized to set up libraries , training, books,in Kannada, Hindi, English,
