Who we are
Prathmik Vidyalay Barodih is a government primary school located in Jakhania, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. We are committed to providing quality education and creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for children from the local community.
Our school focuses not only on academic learning but also on developing reading habits, creativity, curiosity and confidence among children. We believe that access to good books can open new doors to learning and imagination for every child.
Our work and its impact
Prathmik Vidyalay Barodih provides primary education to children from the local community in Jakhania, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. We work to make learning engaging, inclusive and accessible for every child.
Along with classroom education, we encourage children to develop reading habits, creativity, curiosity and confidence through various educational and co-curricular activities. I set up three smart class in school by community engagement. A bank Named "Gyan jyoti Bank" is started by me in 2020 with the help of alumni and teachers , and Bank provides stationary items to students as when they needed.
Our work impacts society by helping children build strong foundational learning skills and develop a lifelong interest in education. By creating access to more books and learning resources, we aim to nurture informed, confident and curious young learners who can contribute positively to their families and community in the future.
How we will utilise these books
Through this fundraiser, we aim to build a collection of age-appropriate storybooks from Pratham Books for our students. These books will help create a vibrant reading culture and contribute to a better reading environment at our school. The books will be used by our students as part of the school's reading and other engaging activities. The books will be added to the school library and made accessible to children across Classes 1 to 5.
