Who we are
The school is located in a very downtown area of ahmedabad , named barrel market , were there is no proper road or drainage sytem available , people have to strugle every day to get drinking water , most of the people are migrated from either earth quake or 2002 riotes affected area , family have to strugle to get employment . Brighton school was estaiblished in 2011 with a aim to give good quality of education to childeren of poor family . In a very nominal tution fees , thats the reason we built the library.
Our work and its impact
Brighton school is a small school , running in a very low income earner family comunity , people cant afford to pay the tution fees , thats the reason the school was started with a aim to replace inequality of education in the society .
How we will utilise these books
We are running the school were people cant afford to sent there childeren to a private school , bcause its to expensive for them to pay the tution fees . So we are running a private school with better quality of education with a nominal fees of 180 pm . So that even poor childere get the opportunity to get a better quality of education . The school currently have enrolement of 600 students , we build the library this year with a collection of 200 books , but for 600 students its not enough from the fund we will get we gone a buy more books so that student get more opportunity for learning some new and it will give chance to students of other school to borrow the books from the library .
