Who we are
Play Nest Academy is an educational initiative based in Narthan, Gujarat, dedicated to providing meaningful learning experiences for children in a rural and underserved community.
Our work and its impact
We focus on fostering a culture of reading and learning by combining formal education with access to high-quality children’s literature. Many of our students come from families with little or no access to books. By building a library and introducing regular reading practices, we aim to improve literacy, imagination, creativity, and critical thinking skills, thereby preparing children for brighter futures.
How we will utilise these books
The storybooks received through this fundraiser will become a powerful resource to transform the reading experience of rural children and beyond. They will be used to:

-Set up a dedicated reading corner/library that offers children a welcoming space to explore the joy of books.
-Bring stories to life through regular storytelling and read-aloud sessions, nurturing imagination, empathy, and curiosity.
-Encourage independent reading so children can build confidence, improve language skills, and strengthen classroom learning.
-Extend the gift of books to the wider community, reaching children in nearby villages who otherwise have no access to storybooks at home.
