Who we are
We 511 children live in Raghubir Nagar slum of Delhi and Bajghera village of Gurgaon. We study in municipal schools. We do not have libraries. Wish to read good books. Please help us in setting up libraries in our learning centres run by the NGO CSSAR.
Our work and its impact
I am Yogendra Jha founder of NGO CSSAR. I quit a govt job six year ago to work full time for this NGO.
How we will utilise these books
My NGO runs remedial classes for 511 underprivileged children who live in slums and villages and study in municipal schools. Due to these remedial classes children are regular in schools and they understand different subjects better. Also they handle home assignments properly. Objective of remedial classes is to complement the gaps in school education and sustain the interest of children and their parents in formal education system. We wish to set up five libraries in five learning centers. Each center will consist 125 books.
