Who we are
Nature Green Future Trust is a non-profit dedicated to uplifting rural communities, especially children from kisan (farmer) families. Growing up in villages, we witnessed how farmers struggle to provide even basic necessities, leaving their children with little access to books, resources, or opportunities to dream. Our mission is to bridge this gap through education, environmental awareness, and community empowerment. We envision a world where every child, regardless of their family’s means, can learn, nurture curiosity, and build a brighter future—one book and one action at a time.
Our work and its impact
Nature Green Future Trust empowers rural communities, especially children from poor kisan (farmer) families, through education, environmental conservation, and community engagement. In many villages, children face barriers such as a lack of books, limited access to schools, and minimal exposure to learning opportunities, which restrict their growth and aspirations.
Our organisation addresses these challenges by setting up community libraries, conducting book donation drives, and providing academic support to children who cannot afford educational resources. We also run awareness programs on tree plantation, water conservation, waste management, and biodiversity protection, encouraging sustainable practices among families and villages.
Through our last Donate-a-Book fundraiser, we raised 112 joyful storybooks for farmers’ children in Pratapgarh. These books became tools to inspire reading, spark curiosity, and create opportunities for a brighter future for the children. Now, we aim to extend the joy of reading to two more villages—Dariyapur Kot and Khemaipur.
How we will utilise these books
The procured books will be used to stock the community libraries in the villages of Dariyapur Kot and Khemaipur. Local volunteers and educators will guide the children, helping them develop critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. Regular reading sessions, group discussions, and activities will be organised to create an engaging and interactive reading experience. By providing access to books and guidance, this initiative will empower children to overcome social barriers and build confidence. Every book will become a tool to inspire learning, spark curiosity, and create opportunities for a brighter future.
