How we will utilise these books

Maati envisions to create strong linkages between the 4 " Es": Education, Employability, Employment and Entrepreneurship for the underprivileged section of the society. By doing so, it aims to create a society free from deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability. It also strives to protect and promote the ethnicity of rural and tribal India by documentation and disseminating the cultural nuances and richness of the tradition." The donated books would help Maati in running 30 Libraries in the rural and tribal villages. The library would become the nodal for change. Empowering Women to become change agents in their Villages! A mobile library (Bag of books) will be given to every women volunteer who then takes it to her village and uses it to inspire children to read. The volunteers are also trained on important issues like hygiene and sanitation and they in turn train and educate their community members! A Powerful Model of Community Service! Empowering Women!
