Who we are
Our school library aims to develop reading habits in students. Majority of our children are from BPL and SC communities and we are working towards imparting quality education to them. We are committed to grooming these children as learned and responsible citizens. Your small contribution can bring light and brightness of knowledge in their life.
Our work and its impact
This is a Government school in Pokhari, a remote hill area of Uttarakhand. This is an upper primary school with classes 6 to 8. Presently 53 students are studying and all of them belong to BPL families. The school is providing free education to all students.
How we will utilise these books
Government Junior High Masoli's mission aims to inculcate reading habits in the students and provide a very good library to them. The school is committed to being an excellent center of learning in the remote area of Uttarakhand. With access to a wide array of books, schools and students will be able to dispel many social evils from their communities. The Government Junior High School, Masoli will set up a class library in the school. The school will utilies the fund to purchase books in Hindi and English languages. The students will be able to freely access these books from the library.
