Who we are
We are planning for a construction of library in our village to encourage reading habits and to improve literacy rate. We want to set up a library a lot of stories and knowledge can be provided.
Our work and its impact
My name is Satish Kumar and I am studying 3rd year B.tech. I and some of my friends had planned for construction of library in village. We have already started collecting funds and books .
How we will utilise these books
i works in NGO's and some voluntary organisations. A few months ago I collected books for students in the govt school where my father is working. I and my friends go to govt schools every Saturday to teach them. Now i am collecting funds for books to keep in library which is in consruction process The collected books will be kept in library for reading purpose. I believe that reading habits will certainly change the attitude of a person and because of that reason we are constructing library in our village. Only education can bring change in our society and in my village which is a rural village.
