Who we are
I am working with a small village for its total transformation in various sectors like health, education, infrastructure etc This particular campaign will be focused on making Zilla Parishad school more attractive and also with quality outcomes. Children from this school are particularly from low income catagory who are of farmer’s and labour’s.
Our work and its impact
Through village transformation mission we have been working on overall development of village. As education is base for transformation of a village, we need to focus on how can we improve quality of education in rural areas. Main problem is Zilla parishad schools have been facing competition from private schools and English schools. And obviously main sufferers are children from low income categories who can not afford such paid education. Till date we have been trying to make this Zilla parishad school digital and also enjoyable by providing LCD and toys. Now through this campaign I would love to focus on making children read and getting their hobby of reading developed.
How we will utilise these books
Reading habit is an essential thing needs to be developed during school age itself. Our focus is holistic and making students ready with all qualities to face competition from private educational institutions. We will use this fund to setup library and a dedicated room where children can come and read apart from their academic syllabus.
