Who we are
We are a budget private school in central Delhi, 5-10 years old studying. We require books for our classroom library as we wish to read more books and in our preferred language. Help us become readers for life. There is little access to books moreover there is no library in school, so we would like to access the library for our kids so that they will be more attracted to reading with your support. We have currently 80 students studying with different age group and different background. They are from very low-income family and won’t be able to afford books.
Our work and its impact
I am an individual residing nearby the school, would really like to help these kids for there studies, as they are very passionate and due to lack of facilities won't be able to grow. Kids are the nation's future so the best I can do as a citizen would like to help as best as I can. Once the fund is collected we would like to buy books for our school and set up a library, from your organisation as these are very beautiful illustrated supplementary story books which will initially help the kids in their upliftment. As there reading the preferred language is English and Hindi so we want the same language.
How we will utilise these books
The first initiative of raising funds through this platform. Trying to give access to beautiful storybooks to students of age group between 5-10 years old. By setting up a library in school will gradually develop the reading habit which is a basic step in learning and development. As I have heard from so many people through and about this platform, we can genuinely help the kids as the books and story illustrations will really help to attract kids and generate good reading habit. As they are very low in cost we can ask any of our donors to help and promote for this kind cause. As an individual don't have enough funds to help these kids to provide good reading material and library, hope I can peruse it from here. the collected books will be utilized in buying books for children in Hindi and English language.
