How we will utilise these books

i-Saksham is an initiative of Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellows, to address the issue of quality education in remote-rural areas. Local youths in rural areas are selected and trained in use of pedagogy, text books, digital technology and other relevant tools and techniques to deliver quality education.These trained youths, significant of whom are girls, in turn run learning centers where they teach community children Each tuition centres which generally has 20-30 students will get 20 books, which will be rotated monthly. While 50 books will be placed in one KGBV and RBC(government run institutions). Children reading these books will write their names on the first page of the book, and the teacher or volunteer will use it as clue to engage with the child. We also wish to use Urdu books in areas which have high Muslim population, as access to quality story books in this language is poor in the areas we work
