Who we are
We are a class of eighty seven 12 year olds studying in low income private school in Ahmedabad. We are setting up a classroom library for kids to read books/novels. We love reading and want to read more books. Please help us create readers.
Our work and its impact
I am a TEACH FOR INDIA fellow, place in a low income private school in AHMEDABAD. My vision for my class is create readers and writers and for that first I want to expose them to many books.
How we will utilise these books
I teach 87 curious and fun loving readers in grade 6. We directly work with children empowering them by good education. we also work toward empowering communities and try to go towards sustainability. these funds will be used for books. we will make a small class library and try to distribute these books weekly to make sure that every child get a chance to read every book.
