Who we are
Are you an enthusiastic reader? If yes,you would like to build some more enthusiastic readers. Sudhanikethan consists of 125 students from low income group. The aim is to increase interest among students in reading and improve their comprehension skills which would in turn increase there attendance and interest towards education and also to have books of 3 languages to ensure kids develop reading skills in all.The importance will be on making English comprehension a strength. We wish to build a learning environment overall. Thank you.
Our work and its impact
Sudhanikethan Education society was set up in 1976 as a government aided schools located in Padarayanapura. Our school has 125 students with 2 governement teachers and 4 private teachers. The school is urdu medium but we believe in providing the best of knowledge in English and Kannada as well.
How we will utilise these books
The students of our school do not have access to any resources that would help in learning comprehension skills or build interest towards reading. A library would help us provide them the basic resources for the same. We are a school who wish to provided the best education to our students. By the end of July, we wish to have 2 library kits which would enable us to have library hours, shared reading and read aloud as a major activity in our school in turn impacting better learning outcomes.
