Who we are
Hello brilliant people! We are a small government school( class 1- 8) having strength of 155 students. We are in need of books so that our children can fall in love reading and learning new concepts through reading amazing illustrated books from. I am sure you can help us build our dreams, our life. our motto, " come lets fall in love with Reading".
Our work and its impact
I am Saraswati Sharma, a passionate educator teaching around 67 kids in a small government school. I hope to build a library for our school so that the kids can become readers for life and build interest in learning new concepts and values. Hence, they will become independent learners which is one of the elements of my vision for the classroom.
How we will utilise these books
I teach to empower kids. I believe education is a such a tool that helps the kids to shed all the inhibitions and move forward in life as a confident individual. One educated child has the capacity to inspire 100 others to become constant learners throughout their life. Educating a child helps in fulfilment of the society as the kids become aware of the challenges present around the society and start working towards resolving them. This enables them to acquire knowledge and skill sets to lead a happy and fulfilled life. I have been trying in my own capacity to bring the best I can to the kids so that my dream of empowering them is achieved one day. The funds will be utilised to buy books to set up a library in a small government school catering to the education of 155 kids coming from underprivileged background.
