Help me READ is a campaign for setting up a interesting library in Velachha Upper Primary School where children are enthusiastic for reading but no preferable books are available. It is very tough for HM or other teachers to go to city and bring books for library as there are issues regarding funds, time and topography of the area. It will create impact upon 140 students of 8 classes. So please "Help me READ"
Our work and its impact
I am currently working as a Gandhi Fellow in Surat with 35 villages. I want to create a cluster level library for students and this is the first step in implementing the dream to reality.
How we will utilise these books
The library will directly impact upon the reading and knowledge bank of 140 students from 3 different villages and it will create a role model for others for believing in the power of books. With the funds we will buy new and interesting books of 2 different languages that will directly impact upon 140 students from 3 villages and ebhabe their knowledge and make them used to a system called " LIBRARY "
