We are a charitable trust in India with a team of young and dynamic volunteers who envision a world where the underprivileged have easy access to life’s essential needs.
Our work and its impact
"To create a better world, it is necessary to alleviate poverty, safeguard drinking water, use clean energy and ensure quality education and values for all." — A.P.J Abdul Kalam.
More than a third of the population lives in rural regions, without access to clean drinking water, affordable healthcare and education, etc. IC Trust aims to alleviate the effects of poverty by helping underserved communities in rural areas get access to resources that will enrich their lives.
How we will utilise these books
As part of our education programme, we plan to set up libraries in areas where children from tribal communities can develop their reading skills and learn more about the world around them. We aim to build 100 new libraries with book-lending programmes by the end of the year 2021. All funds raised from this campaign will be used for filling these libraries with storybooks from Pratham Books. Help us reach our goal of sharing the delightful world of picture books with the children in these communities.
