Who we are
We are a small government school in Cottonpet area of Bangalore, with 10 teachers and 200 students in grade 1 to 7. Since Urdu is the medium of instruction and learning in our school, our children are missing out on getting to learn English, which has become an important life skill for this generation. We wish to start learning circles for our students, where we focus on improving their English language skills and comprehension. Help us equip our students by donating books for them.
Our work and its impact
My name is Abdul Azeez. I have been a teacher in this school for 2 years. However, I have been in the Government school system for the past 15 years.
How we will utilise these books
I am a teacher in this school. trying to contribute to our children's learning to the best of my ability. These funds will be utilised to buy English books. We want to start reading circles in our classrooms, with a focus on improving our students' reading and comprehension skills.
