We are raising these funds for

Every year for Abhi’s birthday, I raise funds for a cause. Over the last 3 years we raised close to 10 lakhs for a girl’s school in Jharkhand. This year, I want to raise money to gift books to community and school libraries. I will be selecting the schools along with the team from Pratham Books. Most likely these libraries will be in Jharkhand and/or Karnataka.

Abhi dedicated almost his entire professional life to working in education in the development space. He was passionate about the cause and even raised money for it personally when he ran marathons. This is the reason I have chosen to continue raising for education. He was also a voracious reader and so this year I am very happy to be raising money to spread the love of reading to more children.
