Our work and its impact

We are currently working actively in five states - Karnataka, Meghalaya, Delhi, Sikkim and Manipur - and have impacted around 10,000+ students. With the help of our funders we provide hardware to selected government schools through which they are able to access Meghshala’s content. Our team supports the teachers throughout the project’s duration with regular school visits, classroom observations, pedagogy and CAREC skill training.

The introduction of Meghshala e-lessons in classrooms has exposed the teachers to new teaching and learning styles. Some of the outcomes we have witnessed are:
1. Teachers feel empowered and develop their own content.
2. Teachers create voice overs for lessons in their regional languages for YouTube.
3. Teachers become better facilitators which leads to experiential learning in classrooms.
4. Tech intervention in the classrooms makes both the teachers and the students tech savvy.
5. Students develop critical thinking and reasoning abilities and work actively to solve real life problems around them.
6. Planning lessons is quicker and easier for teachers.
7. Positive pedagogical benefits for students.
