Who we are

GHVS Trust supports rural education in Mandya and Tumkur districts in Karnataka by supporting government schools. Due to the sheer size of our population, the facilities provided by the government fall short of the required standards and this is where we step in. We teach English and Maths apart from providing necessary infrastructure to enable the smooth running of classes. We strongly believe in the quote ‘Education Empowers’.

Our work and its impact

We have already donated more than 10 LIC (Library-in-a-Classroom) kits. This is our second Donate-a-Book campaign. The storybooks will help reduce dropout rates in primary and high schools by helping the students understand their subjects better through storytelling.

How we will utilise these books

The funds from this campaign will help get multilingual storybooks from Pratham Books for our classroom libraries. The books will be integrated into lesson plans and extra-curricular activities like sketching, reading, and theatre.
