Who we are
GHVS Trust works for the betterment of children and communities in rural Karnataka.
a. We assist rural meritorious students by providing fees, scholarship, incentives, educational materials, personality development seminars, etc.
b. We aid government schools with support in the form of educational materials, uniforms, school kits, sponsoring seminars, workshops, sports meet, etc
c. Medical help to critically ill students
Our work and its impact
We teach English and Kannada in government schools. We inculcate reading habits among children through storytelling using joyful storybooks and by leveraging other art forms like skits, papercraft, painting, music, dance, etc. Such activities have shown to improve public speaking skills among our children.
How we will utilise these books
With the funds thus raised, we would be procuring joyful storybooks for our children. We would be leveraging them in our classes to tell stories, convey educational and moral concepts, to improve reading, writing, speaking skills, along with imparting skills in art and creativity.
