Who we are
Imamwada Municipal Secondary School is an Urdu medium school in Mumbai.
Our work and its impact
To improve the students’ reading ability and to cultivate the habit of reading regularly, I started a magazine library. As a result, their learning pace has improved. With the help of donations, we have subscribed to 15 magazines and also receive magazines through donations. As the students expand their horizons by reading magazines, I want to expand the scope of our mini library by stocking more children’s storybooks.
How we will utilise these books
I dedicate time every Saturday to reading in the library. Appointed student monitors maintain records of books issued and returned by the students. With the funds from this campaign, I hope to enhance their interest in Science, Maths, and Technology with the help of Pratham Books’ multilingual STEM storybooks.
