Who we are
Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti runs Reading Project in Jhadol, Kotra of Udaipur District in our Schools. We require books for our classroom and library too. So that the kids will love to Read and improve their reading skills as well as develop a creative minds.
Our work and its impact
Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti is established on 10th July 1981 by Lt. Pandit Jeevat Ram Sharma (Babuji). Providing education was his parental work. He started development journey formally by initiating school with 17 children’s and in 1990 RBKS initiated addressing the issue of Rural Development. Presently it is reached to 7 school, 12 colleges, Residential education for 1200 Students and rural development activities in 641 villages. Educate each and every kids is the Moto of his life. We are serving children and adults from low income and low literacy backgrounds. We open the door to reading by issuing hundreds of books . Our Story Telling model to children the excitement of reading as thinking.
How we will utilise these books
Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti is serving the Students of Tribal areas of Southern rajasthan with the Moto to Educate each and Every with Creative Minds. We have students from 6 years to 18 Years of age group.These Story telling are key to opening young minds from impoverished backgrounds to what they have had little exposure to - the great pleasure of reading as an act of thinking. Rajasthan Bal kalyan Samiti aims to serve the students to educate with creative minds and has to setup the book collection for the needy students. We use the donated funds to purchase a full set of Pratham books in Hindi and English for our library of our 7 Schools.
