Who we are

StandUp India Foundation is an NGO committed to improving the lives of underprivileged and marginalised communities in rural and urban Karnataka. It is an issue-based, strategic educational support organisation that works with people’s collectives, NGOs and local governance, and the government. Collaborative research, public education, advocacy, direct field-level mobilisation, and implementation with multiple stakeholders are the key instruments of our work.

Our Vision: To create a sustainable society where all the stakeholders, particularly the vulnerable participate with full empowerment and gain equal access and control over services, resources, and institutions.

Our Mission: To empower and strengthen the social services, resources, and institutions, so that the vulnerable sections of society, particularly the children, women, farmers, youth, Dalits, and tribals are empowered to effectively and decisively participate in mainstream development.
