Who we are
Dindori, a complete tribal district with literacy rate less than 65% is struggling to educate Children in the best manner but due to unavailability of interesting books at schools in the village areas children are not getting quality education. To provide healthy environment and quality education to the students we want to set up a central library for schools.
Our work and its impact
I am Mohini Singh CM Fellow, Dindori working on different government schemes. As a part of my work I am working with education department for better quality of education for tribal students.
How we will utilise these books
I am writing on behalf of the District. Over the past several years government was providing children from our surrounding community with free care, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring. Many of these Children come from poor family and there are always problem of shortage of books. A small help will be great change in their academic life. This year though I am specifically seeking donations to fund the building of the library and the purchasing of books to fill it. As an educated person like you would understand, the access to books is of extreme importance to the development of kids. All funds will be utilized in setting up a central library in the district for students to get a platform to learn and understand concepts in a better way.
