Our work and its impact
In 2012, Hope for the Children Foundation launched the Shiksha ki Asha program, an early childhood care and education (ECCE)-based inclusive education program for low-income and academically disadvantaged children.
Through our Child Friendly Centered method, we provide a tailored curriculum for remedial education supported by our 36 eco-friendly learning tools, art & craft stimulating learning method and and personality development. The program also educates children, teachers, and parents on health, nutrition, and child protection.

How we will utilise these books
The funds raised will provide joyful books from Pratham Books in Marathi, Hindi, and English. The books will be given to Anganwadi centers for children to cultivate reading practices. The story books will help the children to cultivate knowledge. It’s especially important for children from age 3 years to 6 years to read as much as possible because the effects of reading are cumulative. However, it’s never too late to begin taking advantage of the many physical and psychological benefits waiting in the pages of a good book. Kids make big leaps in vocabulary during this time, and learn about letters, shapes, colours, weather, animals, and seasons. This can be strengthened through books.
