Who we are
I would like to setup the community library in my school. Our community library aims to develop reading habits in local children and community members. Majority of our children are from BPL and tribal communities and we are working towards imparting quality education to them. Lack of resources is our biggest challenge. Your small contribution can bring remarkable difference in learning process of these community children.
Our work and its impact
My name is Bhawana Pathak, I'm principal of Krishi Vigyaan Govt, School, Almora. I had would like to setup the library in my school in order to build reading habit of children. But because of lack of financial resources I'm unable to collect updated books for the library setup.
How we will utilise these books
As my school is situated in one of the remote village of Uttrakhand also most of the student who study here are from BLP/tribal family. where there are very less opportunity available. I would like to setup the community library in my school so that I can start building the learning habit in children and community member. I would setup the community library in my school. I had also approached to several other NGOs. i.e KAFAL Foundation, United Way Foundation, Tata Trust for helping me setup community library here. I would really appreciate your contribution for this cause. Thank you!
