Who we are
Angels Haven School was founded in 2013 by Mr. R. Bhatt with the intention of providing a world-class education to the needy children of his village. The school educates low-income groups and marginalized farmer communities with free education and transport. The school runs on his meager savings along with support from family and friends. AHS started with 11 children and one teacher. Now, AHS caters to 60 children from the neighboring villages and engages 6 teachers.
With this campaign, we wish to start a community library to realize his vision of uplifting the rural population by providing access to quality education.
Our work and its impact
I am an educator. My passion is to work with rural schools to uplift the quality of teaching. Towards this end, I organize workshops and programs to train faculty members. With such initiatives, I aspire to provide children access to high-quality education.
How we will utilise these books
The books will be part of the community library and will be utilized in our reading programs. These programs are designed to inculcate the habit of reading among children. Many cultural programs will be devised centered around these books that develop the interpersonal skills of our children in addition to bringing out their creative side. With such interventions and programs, we strive to provide the best start for our children.
