Who we are
I am Seema and I am a supervisor overseeing a cluster of Anganwadis.
We are a part of the Integrated Child Development Services [ICDS] project for 3 to 6-year-old children in Anganwadis under the Government of Maharashtra.
Our work and its impact
Our Anganwadi provides pre-primary education to 3 to 6-year-old children. There is a dearth of joyful books in our reading space and look forward to stocking up on age-appropriate books for our children.
We are aware of the high-quality, affordable books that are published by Pratham Books. Making such books available to our children is aspirational to both us teachers and parents. I humbly request you to support us in the pursuit of making these books available to the children at our Anganwadi. Thanks!
How we will utilise these books
Books will be a part of the reading space in our Anganwadi.
We have developed a nook for children to freely access these books. With activities such as storytelling and read-aloud, we ensure our children engage with these books daily.
