Who we are
Ekalvya - Gaava Tithe Granthalya is going to start 10 mini-libraries for rural children of latur. This library will be started in the school which doesn't have any funds support from the government. In this library, 500 books will be there with Marathi, English and Hindi Literature. All the library will be started in the name of Late Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
Our work and its impact
Ekalvya - Gaava Tithe Granthalya was a project which had participated in Transform Maharashtra Competition in 2016-17. In which we were talking about improving the educational level in Rural part of Maharashtra by creating libraries over there. In the competition, we stood at 6th place and then we started our actually work at the grassroot level. We are now working in Pune and Mumbai. And we have started 10 libraries in the tribal area of Kalyan, Titwala and Murbad.
How we will utilise these books
Ekalvya - Gaava Tithe Granthalya aims at improving the education level in the rural area of Maharashtra by setting up libraries. This library will be used to maintain the reading habit of the children which they are not able to maintain because of lack of resources. By creating this 10 library in latur it will impact 2000 children's life. Ekalvya - Gaava Tithe Granthalya aims to start this 10 libraries till the month of October 2019. The collected funds will be used to purchase Marathi, English and Hindi Books for libraries.
