Who we are
Our Moto of this fund raising is to establish and set up a library for Rural children. So that they can use there free time in library. there is no concept of library in rural areas of this particular district Kargil Ladakh. Even we have no facilities of library in our villages. This little help of our organisation can establish the reading culture among the children. Now we require books for this libraries so that children willg get benefits. We hope that people helps us to raise the funds for books.
Our work and its impact
Students Educational Movement of Kargil Ladakh (SEMOK) was established in 2011 and got registration in 2012, since from inception SEMOK works for students welfare. Even SEMOK got appreciation from District Administration and other reputed organizations for there excellence work's for students. Initially SEMOK organising many Career Councilling for students at many Higher Secondary Schools, SEMOK also organised co- curriculum activities at many primary schools as well as middle schools of the district. SEMOK also present schools infrastructure and teacher shortage issues before district administration. SEMOK This 2019 year motive is for establishing libraries for children in every villages. We hope we will succeed to achieve our motive.
How we will utilise these books
SEMOK this mission large impacts and beneficial for our children it inculcate the reading culture among children. Now a days reading culture is gradually decreasing among children due to by advancing of mobile phones and social media impacts. We hope through this mission we can revive the reading culture again in our society. SEMOK mission is to establish libraries and donate books for children in every villages of our district by the help of local village youths. This funds are firmly used for library purpose in rural areas.
