Who we are
we educate slum areas children and admit these to nearby missionary schools, these schools take all responsibility of these children. We work toward the overall development of the children and helping them reach their potential.
Our work and its impact
I am Gaurav Mishra from lucknow , i am working as software developer and also work for ngo which name is 'Robin Hood Army' basically ngo is volunteer based organisation that works to get surplus food from restaurants to the less fortunate sections of society in cities across India and 12 other countries. The organisation consists of over 16,500 volunteers in 80 cities, and have served food to over 8.5 million people so far.The volunteers people from all walks of life. The lesser fortunate sections who the organisation reaches out to include homeless families, orphanages, night shelters, homes for abandoned children, patients from public hospitals, etc. we need your support to help.
How we will utilise these books
The Robin Hood Academy empowers 2500+ street children with basic primary education. Our Robins conduct regular weekend classes and excursions with a standardized curriculum to introduce and drive the spirit of learning. The purpose of the Academy is to be a bridge between the street and schools, by giving our children the tools and knowledge to go to school. we are looking forward to your positive response. We will use the books received to distribute it to children in need and encourage reading among them.
