Who we are
Avyaym Foundation is a Gujarat-based organisation that helps students procure school essentials. We help underprivileged children from semi-urban and rural areas acquire school bags, uniforms, notebooks, stationery, and even help pay their school fees.
Our work and its impact
We believe that education is the most important tool for a country’s well-being. We want to reduce the financial burden on the children’s parents by ensuring that they have everything they need to get an education, and thus encourage them to remain in school and complete their education.
How we will utilise these books
The funds raised from our crowdfunding campaign will be used to get delightful Pratham Books storybooks for 300+ students. Alongside school bags, stationery and uniforms, children will receive multilingual storybooks and experience the joy of reading in English and their mother tongue languages. Their vocabulary, communication and linguistic skills will also improve and the diverse themes explored in the storybooks will broaden their horizons.
