Our work and its impact
Aviratha Trust has several impactful programs, including the establishment and support of libraries, distribution of notebooks, setup of computer labs, technical training at universities, and science lab enhancements.
Our annual flagship program, the Notebook Distribution Drive, ensures that underprivileged students have essential tools for their education, alleviating financial burdens on families in need.
We recognize the pivotal role of libraries as intellectual hubs that foster learning and community engagement. By establishing libraries in underserved areas and supporting existing ones, we provide access to a wealth of knowledge, promoting literacy and lifelong learning among individuals.
We also set up computer labs in schools and provide technical training at universities, equipping students and young adults with essential digital skills. This prepares them for the challenges of the modern workforce and enhances their employability prospects.
Furthermore, we enhance scientific education by establishing and upgrading science labs in educational institutions. These labs provide students with hands-on learning experiences, fostering curiosity, experimentation, and innovation in scientific disciplines.
These initiatives represent just a snapshot of Aviratha Trust's multifaceted approach to community development. Beyond these, the trust also engages in career counselling, community health camps, and various other programs aimed at empowering individuals and building resilient, knowledgeable communities.
How we will utilise these books
This initiative aims to establish and upgrade libraries in government schools in the North Karnataka region.
One of the key aspects of our approach is to partner with schools to take ownership of the libraries and ensure their effective utilisation. This means that the schools themselves will maintain and promote these libraries as integral parts of their educational environment. The Aviratha team will stay in touch with the schools to receive regular updates on the utilisation of these books.
These books will serve as vital resources to enhance literacy, support curriculum-based learning, and foster a culture of reading among students and community members.
By enriching these libraries with diverse books spanning various genres and subjects, we envision creating dynamic spaces where students can explore, learn, and grow. From storybooks that ignite imagination to educational materials that deepen understanding, each book will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of countless children.
