Anallon Christian Institute (ACI), established in 1975 and sponsored by the Anallon Christian Development Committee (ACDC), is a non-profit educational institution located at Lambung, Chandel District, Manipur. For over five decades, the school has been committed to providing quality education to underprivileged rural tribal children from remote and economically disadvantaged communities. ACI serves as a beacon of hope for students who have limited access to educational resources and opportunities.
Despite its significant contribution to tribal education, the school library remains inadequately equipped with books and learning materials. Many students rely solely on classroom textbooks and have little exposure to reference books, literature, science resources, and digital learning materials. The books procured through this initiative will help build a library for the underpriviledged tribal children. A well-stocked library is essential to foster reading habits and encourage critical thinking. Support for library development will help create an enriching learning environment and empower hundreds of rural tribal students with confidence, and opportunities for a brighter future.
