Who we are
Myself ,Siddhanth and my Mom Disha are raising funds to gift the pleasure of reading to each child at a girl's municipal school in Faridabad. The girls are deprived of a proper library leave aside books. Sledgehammer foundation has adopted this school and we seek to get them a proper library with varieties of books to read, explore and learn.
Our work and its impact
Sledgehammer foundation is the charity wing of Asia's biggest oils and tools company. Founded in 2015 the foundation works in Faridabad area towards girl education, women empowerment, sports upliftment and road safety.
How we will utilise these books
Sledgehammer foundation is working towards girls education and we aim to create a library at our adopted municipal school in Faridabad. Reading is a very powerful tool which every child deserves and we are working towards enabling each child with the joy of reading, into the world of wonder.We cater to around 2000 children by providing them assisted education, career counseling, life skills session and personal hygiene. The funds raised will get directed to Pratham books and they, in turn, will provide us with the number of books equivalent the same amount raised .
