Reading storybooks helps us have richer conversations with our five-year-old daughter, Leela, and our family learns many things from children’s books. We believe that storybooks are one of the most powerful tools to help children expand their imagination, encourage them to ask questions and be more curious. In our ongoing efforts to share the joy of reading with children who do not have easy access to storybooks, we have set up a crowdfunding campaign on Donate-a-Book to celebrate our daughter Leela’s fifth birthday. Through this campaign, we want to gift storybooks to children in Swamy Vivekananda Orphanage Home and Sai Spandana Digi School, both located in Warangal, Telangana.
