A storybook is a portal to imaginary lands filled with joy, fun, and learning. Our daughter Zuni, a budding bookworm, says books belong to everyone. This year we are celebrating her 6th birthday by raising a special crowdfunding campaign on Donate-a-Book to share the joy of reading with underprivileged children. Zuni loves reading, and her favourite storybooks from Pratham Books are Ikru’s First Day of School, Nani’s Walk to the Park, Ammachi’s Amazing Machines, Pishi and Me, and more. The funds raised from the campaign will be used to get Pratham Books storybooks for children across the country. We hope to share the same joy that Zuni gets from her reading habit with many children who do not have easy access to storybooks. The storybooks will be part of community libraries in remote areas and government schools so that storybooks can truly belong to everyone.
