Who we are
Pratishtha Foundation is an initiative of Dehradun’s youth to impart quality education to children from underprivileged communities. We conduct evening classes at our learning centre in Clement Town, Dehradun to teach dance, music, art and craft alongside academics. We also conduct workshops for acting, photography, etc to help the children explore new interests and hobbies.
Our work and its impact
Our team consists of 50+ volunteers from different colleges in Dehradun whose mission is to work for the community’s overall development through programmes like ‘Parivartan’, ‘Shiksha’, ‘Sharing Smiles’, and more. Our aim is to empower the community at the grassroots level by providing education and sharing resources.
How we will utilise these books
The funds raised from our campaign will be used to procure Pratham Books’ multilingual storybooks for our learning centre. Children are taught various subjects and reading these STEM storybooks will help them comprehend topics related to Science and Maths in an easy manner. The storybooks will also help the volunteers keep the children engaged and make the learning process simple and easy.
