Who we are
Anupam Social Cultural Welfare Society is a youth welfare group working towards the development of villages in rural Madhya Pradesh. We work on projects aimed towards promoting female literacy, youth welfare, environmental conservation, etc.
Our work and its impact
We believe that developing a reading habit in children lays the foundation to help them grow into responsible and well-informed citizens. Our aim is to establish community libraries in Kuwa Kheda that will also serve as centres of learning for children in surrounding villages. The libraries will promote girls’ education and help them develop their linguistic, communication, and cognitive skills. By sharing the joy of reading with young boys and girls, we will encourage them to dream bigger and chase their goals.
How we will utilise these books
The funds raised from this campaign will be used to procure multilingual storybooks from Pratham Books to be kept at the community library in Kuwa Kheda. The library will be a source of joy and learning not only to the children in Kuwa Kheda but also to families in ten nearby villages. Through this project, we want to share the joy of reading not only with children but with people of all ages.
