We as a family have experienced the positive influence of books and libraries in our lives. After becoming parents, we tried different things to trigger the interest of reading in our daughter. However, one visit to a very beautiful, big library transformed her relationship with books. Since then, Leela fell in love with books and loves reading books. We felt it would be great if more and more Children get such opportunities to experience a good library filled with interesting books for them. So on the 4th Birthday of our daughter, Leela, we want to raise funds to fulfill the needs of 10 Gram Panchayat Libraries in Udupi District of Karnataka. Edit: Thanks to the overwhelming response, we have now decided to raise our aspirations from 4 to 10 Gram Panchayat Libraries in Udupi.
