Who we are
Azad India Foundation is working in Kishanganj district of Bihar. The organisation is directly working with 4000 children in 100 villages through learning centres.
Our work and its impact
Founded in 1998, Azad India Foundation (AIF) is based in Kishanganj, a district of Bihar, and was formally registered in 2001. Over the years, AIF has rendered its focus on ameliorating the status of marginalized women, adolescents, and children as well as developing the conditions of the low-income households in Bihar. Its activities have diversified in the fields of women’s literacy, formal school education, non-formal education, rural employment, income-generating skills, Self Help Group (SHG) formation, community health, and awareness programs on various social issues.
How we will utilise these books
The Library-in-a-Classroom kits will be set up in 25 government schools in the Kochadaman block of Kishanganj district to promote reading skills of the enrolled children.
