Who we are
Kahaaniwala aims to bring about a behavioral change in the reading habits in underprivileged children by providing free access to storybooks and concentrating our efforts on building and enhancing children's critical thinking skills and their power of imagination.
Our work and its impact
Kahaaniwala will provide free storybooks to underprivileged rural children and conduct storytelling sessions at schools and communities. We are also focusing on creating awareness among parents and siblings about the importance of healthy reading habits. We are training volunteers to be reading buddies who will be referred to as Didi and Bhaiya. They will disseminate knowledge through stories.
How we will utilise these books
With the funds raised, we shall distribute storybooks in rural schools and communities. We shall regularly conduct storytelling sessions with children.
