Who we are
Sangini EkSoch was established in 2019 and is working continuously for the underprivileged and marginalized children's education. These are the children who were either engaged in -working at the age of 10- 11 years or taking care of their siblings when their parents went to work and due to which they did not get the appropriate education at an appropriate age. Currently, Sangini is educating around 100 children who never went to school or are school drop out in Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh. Their parents are generally working as street vendors or are daily wage earners. Sangini strives to provide quality education to such underprivileged and marginalized children and bring them to the mainstream.
Our work and its impact
Sangini is educating those underprivileged children who have not got a chance to go to formal school. Bringing them to the Sangini educational center and providing them age-appropriate education is the primary motto of Sangini. Only an educated child can create a better world, not for themselves but for the society they live in. Education helps these children to secure a sustainable livelihood and they will not remain in the same struggling situation as their parents are living.
How we will utilise these books
Funds will be used to buy books from Pratham Books. Later these books will be distributed to these children which will be utilized for reading by these children. These will help them in learning new things by sitting back at home in this Covid-19 situation. Also, we will rotate the books among children so that they all will get a chance to read and learn different stories. This way their interest will remain intact in reading.
